I have been a work at home mom since January 2007 when I started my baby carrier business, Zing Slings. Working with web design has always been a hobby of mine and when I started my business I couldn't afford the high prices of web design. So I searched out the info I needed and it has been a learning process ever since. I decided to start offering my web services on my site, but now that I've been getting more and more requests, I've decided to create a new site strictly for the website services to separate it from my other products.

I have 6 young children with #7 on the way, and most people who know me know that one of my most used words is "Awwwwwwwwwwe"! Show me a picture of a cute baby, or a kid doing something goofy, and that's what I'll say. So when I started trying to come up with a name for this new business, I thought AWE would fit perfect! Affordable Website Enhancements was made to cater mainly to work at home parents so that they would have options on getting a site that works for them, at a budget that works for them. I'll admit there are areas of web design that I am not so familiar with, but I am in a constant learning process and as I learn more, there will be more services offered. In the meantime this is something that I enjoy doing while
contributing to our household income.
